Privacy Notice
Last updated: May 2026
StableUse ("we", "us") operates stableuse.es and provides membership infrastructure for communities, creators, members, marketplace sellers, and buyers. This notice explains what personal data we collect, why we use it, who we share it with, and your rights.
Who is responsible
StableUse is responsible for the platform account, payment, support, security, and analytics processing described here. Community creators are responsible for their own community content, benefits, fulfilment, and offline operations; where they decide how member information is used, they may also act as independent controllers.
What we collect
- Account and profile data: email address, username, profile details, login method, account settings, language preference, account status, and security or session records.
- Membership and transaction data: communities joined, membership tier, subscription status, purchase history, redemption and check-in activity, order or event status, and payment processor references. We do not store raw card numbers.
- Community and commerce activity: event RSVPs, check-ins, ticket purchases, shop orders, shipping details when needed, perk redemptions, stamp and loyalty activity, marketplace listings, purchases, and transfers.
- Creator and staff data: community setup, roles, staff permissions, payout readiness, admin analytics, and operational activity needed to run a community.
- Content, support, and lead data: forum posts, replies, polls, action responses, support tickets, waitlist submissions, creator applications, and consent records.
- Usage, device, and diagnostics data: pages and features used, approximate device and browser information, security logs, performance signals, analytics events, error reports, cookies, and browser storage.
How we use it
- To create accounts, authenticate users, maintain sessions, protect account changes, and keep the platform secure.
- To provide memberships, community hubs, gated benefits, marketplace access, QR redemption flows, loyalty, stamps, events, and shop orders.
- To process payments, recurring renewals, cancellations, refunds, payouts, taxes, disputes, and reconciliation through external payment and payout providers.
- To send account, support, operational, lead, and transaction communications.
- To provide creators with community administration, fulfilment, member support, and analytics tools.
- To prevent abuse, investigate fraud, debug issues, measure performance, improve the service, and comply with legal obligations.
Legal basis
Where GDPR applies, we rely on contract performance to provide accounts, memberships, payments, and support; legitimate interests to secure, improve, debug, and operate the platform; consent for lead submissions, optional marketing, and any optional non-essential cookies where required; and legal obligations for tax, accounting, compliance, payment, and dispute records.
Payments and payouts
We use external payment and payout providers for card payments, subscriptions, marketplace settlements, shop and event payments, refunds, disputes, and creator payouts. These providers may collect card, identity, bank, anti-fraud, and compliance information directly from you. We store processor references and payment status needed to provide access, reconcile transactions, and support users, but we do not store raw card details.
Community visibility
Creators, admins, and authorized staff may see member and transaction information needed to run their community, such as names, membership status, tier, edition number, purchase status, check-ins, redemptions, shop fulfilment, support context, and aggregated analytics. Creators must use this information lawfully and only for community operations.
Cookies and local storage
- Necessary cookies keep you signed in, protect against CSRF, support OAuth login, and secure sensitive account changes.
- Functional storage remembers your language preference and short-lived signup or account-change state.
- Local storage may remember member hub read-state so posts can be presented more usefully.
- Analytics and performance technologies may be used to understand aggregate usage, reliability, and site performance.
- Error-monitoring technologies may be used to detect crashes, security issues, and reliability problems without intentionally collecting payment, token, or credential data.
- See the Cookie Notice for more detail about cookies and browser storage.
Who we share data with
We share personal data only where needed to operate StableUse: with payment and payout providers, hosting and infrastructure providers, database and storage providers, authentication and email providers, analytics, performance, and error-monitoring providers, community creators, admins, and authorized staff where needed for community operations, professional advisers, and authorities where legally required. We do not sell personal data.
International transfers
Some providers may process data outside your country or the European Economic Area. Where required, we rely on adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses, provider data processing terms, and other appropriate safeguards.
How long we keep it
We keep account data while your account is active. We keep transaction, payout, tax, accounting, fraud, dispute, and compliance records as long as required by law or payment network rules. Community activity, orders, redemptions, and support records are kept as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, maintain security, and satisfy legal obligations. Lead submissions are kept until follow-up is complete or you ask us to delete them, unless we need to retain a limited record for compliance.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or export your personal data, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority, including the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) where applicable.
Children
StableUse is not directed to children. If we learn that we have collected personal data from a child without appropriate authorization, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
